Julie Smith

Julie has always been creative but only discovered her addiction to clay in 2020. Since then she has been steadily improving her skills and knowledge. She enjoys working in her well appointed studio, with inspiration drawn from the natural beauty of the John Forrest National Park location. She is particularly interested in the formation of patterns and enjoys the geometric period in history. Unique pottery pieces are decorated with intricate carved designs and attractive glaze colour combinations with precise attention to detail. Recently she has been creating a range of marbled clay, bringing coloured clays together, resulting in a very exciting outcome for these individual pieces.
